Academic Work
I wanted the mask to create a fairy-like character with faun attributes in the ears. I was originally going to do just the mask piece but then my teach Alice drew a beautiful figure with the mesh and I had to change the design to include that.
Clay base for the nose shape that would be covered in foil and vaseline.
False roses, tool, gems, and glow paint was to create this final look. The under part around the eyes was actually where I messed up with the hot glue and burned through the material so I covered that portion with the leaves which also brings the green into the bottom section of the mask.

Costume Construction

This was a costume practicum class in which we learned basic sewing techniques for the shows of that semester. The final for that class required us to design and fabricate a mask that an actor could perform in.
Using both dry brushing methods and a woodgrain tool for the texture.
Based off of a reference picture. Wet blend, lettering, sponge texturing, and spatter.

Scene Painting

This was a painting class where I learned how to recreate a variety of patterns, shapes, and textures on the same piece of masonite. This class was especially challenging considering social distancing protocols that needed to take place for the class to be conducted safely. All photos except for the curtains and the final sign are done on the same size of material that has been painted over many times during the semester.
Stage Makeup
​
This was an asynchronous class on stage makeup I took during my last semester of university. In this class, I learned basic techniques for designing makeup looks and applications on my own face. We had a wide variety of projects that required me to create different characters depending on the assignment and some included backstories like the siren at the end of the pictures.
