Legend of Zelda Masks
This was one of my first commissions I made to be used for a scavenger hunt for a birthday party. Each paper-mache mask was made using newspaper and wallpaper paste to create a base piece with foam clay and craft paper for larger elements as needed. I also had fun with yarn and acrylic paint to bring these iconic characters to life!
Culture Convergence
For my first an largest project yet, I was commissioned to make a total of 18 masks representing both real people and creative renderings to be showcased at Culture Convergence 2024 in association with NFT MSP. This was my first project using Worbla to make more durable pieces. The process of making molds and using a new material makes for more durable masks and the ability to duplicate designs.
